When type foundries release a typeface they’re especially excited about, they often create unique collateral—such as a microsite—to showcase its design and story. My project is a contemporary microsite for ABC Camera, a typeface by Dinamo that reinterprets light traps, a technique originally used in the 1960s and ‘70s to enhance text readability on TV screens. Inspired by this functional yet quirky typographic detail, the site embraces a layered composition of geometric shapes and a structured grid, bringing in a touch of Swiss design—an influence also embedded in the typeface itself.
